帕金森氏病又称震颤麻痹，是中老年人最常见的中枢神经系统变性疾病。其得名是因为一个名为帕金森的英国医生首先描述了这些症状，包括运动障碍、震颤和肌肉僵直。一般在50～65岁开始发病，发病率随年龄增长而逐渐增加，60岁发病率约为1‰，70岁发病率达3‰～5‰。
